Here's Kavanna and the Big Girls (aka her posse). I have barely had time to get online. Somehow, playing with Kavanna, reading to her, changing her, feeding her, taking her on walks, sucks up nearly every minute of my day. And you know what? I love it!!
David is being a stay-at-home-dad right now. Watching him bond with her, comfort her, be with her, play with her is... well, it's really sexy!! He's been a great dad to Ariel and he's wonderful with Kavanna.
We have our pediatrician appointment today. Kavanna is still very congested but otherwise seems well.

Glad to see we're not the only ones behind on the doctor's appointment. Ours is tomorrow. When we called the office, Suzanne was scolded because we're supposed to have her seen within 48 hours (in an ideal world, perhaps--of course, they arrived on a Friday afternoon, and they wouldn't give us an appointment until we could produce an adoption decree saying we had legal rights to her--which means the earliest we could fax the paperwork was Monday...)
Frances is also congested--I thought it was something that happened when she went from tropical China to snowy Michigan... but your Kavanna is in So Cal, where it is still relatively warm.

We ADORE Kavanna. Maddie has decided that they are cousins. She is so delicious I can't stop thinking about her. Holding her was an unbelieveable moment.
Wow she just fits right in! Do you find yourself forgetting about everything else but playing with her?
