Questions

Where is our LID (Log In Date)? What date is our LID? When will we get our LID? Has Kavanna been born yet? Will we get twins? How long is the wait? When will we travel to China? What will Kavanna be like? What will she look like? How will Ariel adjust to being a big sister? Do they sell Huggies in China? What should we bring on the trip? Why does the Chinese goverment insist on new crisp $100 bills? Why doesn't our bank carry them? Where are all the new bills, anyway? When should we start getting our shots? When should we buy a crib? What kind of stroller is best? When will referrals come? How long will we wait? Where is our LID??????

1. Dunno
2. Probably about 2 weeks after your DTC date
3. Some agencies never tell their members what their LID is.
4. Kavanna has probably been born. Since the wait from DTC to referral is still less than 10 or 11 months and most babies are that age when they're referred, Kavanna has probably been born!
5. Only about 3% of all adoptions from China are twins. Most couples are approved to adopt twins.
6. The wait is currently about 9 or 10 months.
7. Usually, travel is about 6 weeks after referral (plus or minus 2 weeks)
8. Kavanna will be adorable.
9. She'll have pretty brown almond shaped eyes and dark brown hair.
10. Ariel will adjust fine (in time).
11. They sell Huggies in China but they're not as good quality as US purchased Huggies. Don't ask me why.
12. Bring only what you can't live without. You can buy everyting else you need when you're in China.
13. The Chinese goverment doesn't insist on new crisp $100 bills. They just want money that is in "good" condition.
14. Your bank should be able to get you $100's in good condition.
15. We didn't get our shots until a month before we left! Bad us!
16. Buy a crib as soon as you want. Assuming you have space to store it.
17. There is no perfect stroller. Take your time and shop around.
18. Referrals come about every month.
19. You'll wait not much longer than a pregnancy - if that.
20. See #3.
