"My mommy is weird. Ha ha."
You know how some people hate hearing their voices recorded because they don't sound like themselves? Well, once I start talking while simultaneously holding a camcorder in my hands, I apparently turn into a big giant dork. I keep thinking, "Who is that screechy, high-pitched strange woman? Oh... c'est moi." Well, I guess I'll just keep being goofy because I'm not going to stop recording our journey. Is this a blogging phenomenon or is it just me?

Not wierd, just a normal mommy excited to get her baby! So excited for you! Enjoy Beijing and especially take the Hutong tour if you can!

It is not just you. And take it from me, it doesn't stop when you get home. The blogging phenomenon just grows to mythic proportions.
And for what it is worth, I think your voice is adorable. Very soothing. :-)
Much love to you!
Oh, stop it, you silly...
That same voice you don't like hearing will soon be music to Kavannah's ears...
So funny! When I heard your voice I thought about that, matching your voice with your wonderful posts and comments and your photo. Do you love your flip? I bought one for Joe last Christmas anticipating a referral....one day. Soon you will hear my voice on my videos! I love your excitement. Not much longer and Kavanna will be in your arms like those other precious babes.
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I have had migranes and my BIL has been able to relieve them with a neck adjustment, but I don't know about wackiness. I took a lot of loooong baths with aromatherapy candles before we left for China. We also set up a "staging area" for packing in a spare room. Really helped organize what we needed and didn't need. How many are in your travel group?
It's not just you...but, to boot, I get told I sound like a 900 kink number. Great. Maybe I CAN consider working from home after all (kidding).
As for you, I LOVE hearing the excitement in your voice.
