We had no idea when we started this journey towards Kavanna that we'd discover such a wonderful community of families who are adopting or have adopted from China (and other countries).  We're grateful for the support and friendship of all our new friends, some of whom live nearby and others a world apart.  One special family is Ford and Alyson, who are in China now with their beautiful new daughter Alyzabeth An.    Stop by and share the joy.

Hi Nina, David & Ariel,
We're counting the days (how many more?)til we get to met Kavanna Lin Rocklin. Her name is as beautiful as she is (and she is one cutie-patootie!!)

Greetings from China! I have to apologize to everyone - I haven't had a second to think about visiting and commenting! I have nanoseconds to jump on the computer and mostly to position Alyzabeth while she is screaming to show family on Skype her latest tantrum! I was feeling guilty for about a day, that I couldn't keep up my bloggy schedule but I got over it! Ford is doing all the gopher work as he is free where as I am the baby/leech/workhorse!
It is getting better and I know by the time we hit the USA we will have a daughter who loves her mama and baba.
Enjoy your trip and we hope you will have time to blog all about it. It is such happiness!

Wow! Do we have a lot to catch up on in the blogdom. We have been lurking in the shadows following your story and then .... along came Joanna Mei. Our daughter became a family member on July 15. We have been happier than a puppy in a room full of rubber balls. Rather difficult at first, but understandably so.

So, we want to congratulate you on the placement of Kavanna into your lives. What a happy, happy, happy looking child. We're jazzed for you and wish you every blessing.

We have a blog set up for Joanna Mei requiring a password. We'd be thrilled to have you visit - our e-mail is duoloco@cfl.rr.com - we'll send along the password. Our regular blog has degenerated into all the 'fun' stuff many bloggers do.

Again, congrats!
