Kavanna is living in the Guangxi province of China, which is in southern China. It's known as the "green bright pearl" of China because it is so lush and beautiful. We'll spend a few days in Beijing (to the north) and then meet Kavanna in Nanning. From there we'll fly to Guangzhou, where Kavanna will officially become a member of the family. We hope to leave in about seven weeks!

I'm loving that you put her pic at the top of each post. How do you get anything done? I think I'd have to stare at that photo non-stop.
May the weeks go by quickly until your Family Day arrives.
Can't wait to see your travels in China and your new daughter! It is everything you can imagine! Sleep whenever you can - one does get a little "off" due to the time time change.

Guangxi is a gorgeous part of China. We loved every single we spent there when we got Mollianne. The people are so friendly but then again, they are all friendly in China. We just loved it and we know you three will, too.
